and don’t say lack of brushing
it gets worse with the brushing
and mouth wash really helps but not permanently its too expensive
there must be something one can eat or some kind of treatment
what causes bad breath exactly???????

Bad breath is usually caused by lots of bacteria in your mouth. Since mostly all the bacteria likes to live on your tongue, it’s easy to get rid of it all. Simply brush your tongue like you would to your teeth, only try not to go too far back, or you will trigger your gag reflex.

Another thing that causes bad breath is smelly food, like onions or garlic. To get rid of this kind of bad breath I just suggest you just thoroughly brush your teeth (and tongue!), then use mouth wash. :)

One more thing that can really help with bad breath is sugar-free gum, preferably something minty. I hope that this information helps with your search for a cure to bad breath! :)

Its all in the mouth mostly – or more specifically the tongue – invest in a tongue scraper to remove build up of germs etc.

Your diet plays a part too – if you are eating strong flavours this will make your breath worse too.

I remember my mom having some sort of pill that makes your breath better. You actually swallow it and it supposedly helps with any bad breath that comes from your stomach. I don't remember what they were called, but I looked up a couple of different products on the internet. One was ProFresh and the other Odarax. Maybe one of these will help! Good luck! Oh, I just thought of something else. I know that before they invented toothpaste, people used baking soda on their tooth brushes. I am wondering if you made a mixture of baking soda and water and used that instead of mouthwash, if that would work. It would be cheaper than mouthwash, and baking soda is known for helping with smells!

Bad breath is caused often because you haven’t brushed and flossed well .If you don’t keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they’ll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh.
