Cures for bad breath?

I have great hygiene when it comes to my teeth gums and tongue and so forth, however, whenever i wake up i have really bad breath, like REALLY bad breath. I brush properly, i floss, i use a mouthwash i do everything to keep my mouth clean and healthy. but for some really annoying reason i always wake up with the worst breath ever. can someone help me out please? I was also looking at finding a way to whiten my teeth due to the fact i have naturaly yellowish teeth. But yeah overall i look ater my mouth very well.

I am like you, bad breath. Only gum helps, but who wants to chew that all day? NOT ME! So, I got this mouthwash from Listerine. It's called Listering Whitening Pre-Brush Mouthwash, and I have to say, satisfied is an understatement. This works. Use it before you brush your teeth, not after! Because the taste, is terrible. Make sure you floss regularly and I don't mean regular as in once a week. It should be once or twice a day. Those plastic flossers help because they make it more convenient and it does feel really good to have all that crud out of your teeth and you don't have to dread wrapping the string floss around your fingers. You will be surprised how much that helps.

Also, brush your teeth at least twice a day, morning and night, and maybe once during the day as well as using mouthwash regularly. It's not free but it doesn't cost a fortune either. After a couple of days you will be surprised how much that does for getting rid of bad breath.

I would also cut down on sweets and carbonated beverages. That can affect the bacteria growth in your mouth as well as cause tooth decay.

Need cure for bad breath?

I have tried all mouth washes, gum, mints, even parsley tablets- all only mask problem. This is caused from medication. I always have bad taste in mouth – I do brush 3x daily and also my tongue. Any suggestions.

halitosis. if its caused by medication it will only get cured if you stop taking the meds. the smell doesnt come from the mouth. its from the stomach or the respiratory tract. sometimes you have bad breath if you have sinusitis or other respiratory problems. gastrointestinal problems could also be the cause. have a check up to find out.
