Need help with husband's bad breath and dental hygiene?

I've been married about a year and love my husband to pieces. But he seems to have chronic bad breath and poor dental hygiene habits. Does anyone have any ideas how to approach him about this without hurting his feelings or making him feel like I am picking him apart?

Schedule the both of you a dental appointment at the same time. It sounds like he has a gum disease (I can't think of the name). My husband had the same problem and I did what I;m telling you to do and it worked. He was diagnosed with a gum disease and after being treat, it;s better. This gum disease can lead to cancer. This is very serious

    Since bad breath is usually a symptom of a dental issue. Get on the topic of getting dental insurance. Talk to him about you wanting the two of you to see a dentist. That dental hygiene's important and you want him to go wtih you and see a Dentist..
    This could get him in the office and you don't have to hurt his feelings

    well i think the best way to tell him would be as direct as possible! use tact of course but be direct. we should be able to be honest in our relationship with our spouse… now as far as hurting his feelings, any way you tell him i believe his feelings may be hurt… but he should be glad that you were honest with him about the situation… he may be a little embarrassed too.

    Healthy teeth are an important part of a healthy body. Tell him that you love him sooo much, and his health is very important to you that a trip to the dentist is in order.
