halitosis

Absolutely cavities can cause bad breath. Cavities are decay and decay anywhere causes odor, most of it bad. Even a cracked filling with a cavitiy starting under it is enough to produce a foul odor. The cavity will continue to get worse until it is filled.

A lot of halitosis also comes from not brushing the tongue thoroughly, so be sure you are taking care of that at the same time.

depends on how big they are. If they are that big to cause halitosis, they have probably progressed to abscesses.

There are many causes of halitosis. Google it.

From what my dentist has told me, they sure can. Especially if you have more then one or if you have a large one. Makes sense to me, especially when you think that a cavity is a spot of rotten tooth and anything rotten can and will stink.

They do. There is likely to be an infection which can be really serious..bad breath is just one side effect. You really do yourself a disservice by putting off dental care. Going to the dentist is not a big deal…not even a little deal!! Keep your teeth clean and in good shape..in the meantime Scope in the white bottle is a great mouthwash! ♥
